Getting SupportTrying to install and use Matterhorn, but running into problems? Below are the recommended mechanisms for getting help:
Mailing ListsThe Opencast Matterhorn project relies heavily on the use of mailing lists for communication across the team. These are the mailing lists associated with the project.
Daily StandupThe Opencast Matterhorn team will adopt an asynchronous "daily standup" mechanism, where each team member should provide a very brief synopsis of what they are working on and any obstacles in their way. Subscribe to the daily standup feed. To post your daily standup, post your message in Twitter, tagging it with "#ocdaily". JIRAhttps://issues.opencastproject.org. [Note: in development] This is the main area where active work on the project is tracked, and also a place where bug reports and new feature requests should be filed. The JIRA content is publicly accessible, but you need to create an account in order to post a bug report or request a new feature. To create an account, please visit https://issues.opencastproject.org/jira/secure/Signup!default.jspa|https://issues.opencastproject.org/jira/secure/Signup!default.jspa and sign up. "Meet" SpacesAdobe ConnectThe University of Vigo provides an Adobe Connect Meeting room for the Opencast Matterhorn project at http://ado.uvigo.es/opencast. The meeting room allows for videoconferencing, chat, screen and document sharing among multiple participants. This meeting is available for any team member to use at anytime for scheduled or impromptu meetings. IRC Channel (#opencast)On irc.freenode.net, the chat group #opencast is used as a group chat by many of the developers. "Share" SpacesThere are several spaces dedicated to sharing or reading about less formal ideas, processes and thoughts about Opencast and the Matterhorn project. Planet OpencastThis is an aggregation of blogs of people working on (or writing about) the Opencast Matterhorn project. To add your blog (or any RSS feed) to Planet Opencast, contact Michelle Ziegmann . Become a fan of Opencast at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Opencast-Project/115843586240!
NOTE: As a community support group, all subscribers are encouraged to help out with any support needs that come across the list. |
