Unable to update captions file

Steps to reproduce

Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to the upload page, choose the default workflow "Encode, Analyze and Distribute" and upload a file with the Captions file upload checked in the Hold.
2. Click on "Caption upload" on the Action column from the admin UI.
3. Upload captions (DFXP) and play the video with the captions activated.

Actual Results:
-If another captions file is uploaded, the captions displayed in the player are not updated, although the "current captions file" message shows the new file (see "captions not updated.png" screenshot attached).

  • "File not found" message next to "browse" button not updated when uploading captions file

  • "File not found" message truncated in Spanish (see "captions not updated.png" screenshot attached).

  • No warning if a wrong format is uploaded (it simply does not work later on in the player, see screenshot attached).


Expected Results:

  • Last uploaded captions should be displayed during playback.

  • Warning message when uploading a wrong format would be advisable.

No video upload is possible using IE 11.0.96 (issue ), but the captions can be uploaded. This web browser offers a better layout than Firefox 30.0.

  • The "File not found" message next to "browse" button is not displayed when a file has been uploaded.
