Make file upload in Admin UI more flexible

Currently only a presenter and a presentation video can be uploaded. There is no chance to attach a captions file or an additional flavor.

are you actively working on this task?
Is your goal to allow the upload of attachments and catalogs at the point of ingest, or from the archive, or both? Do anticipate being able to specify if the upload is a merge or an overwrite?

I ask because this task is on my list for migrating our local upload attachment/catalog/thumb image (a more generic) 2x/3x and I don't want to duplicate or conflict with your effort. I'm still investigating the new strategies within 3x. Our site's requirement is to be able to upload specifically flavored images; to upload a modified captions/transcription file; to upload lecture handout notes (such as a PDF files). We currently do this in v1.63 with an archive workflow containing a complex UI snippet.

Hi Karen,

I am not actively working on this task. I was kind of motivated after I did the usability improvements for 3.0 and the captions, but currently I am distracted by other tasks like updating elastic search.

So you will not run into conflict with me... Feel free to take this task, if you want to. Or just ping me if you think it is save to restart to work on this task again.

Sorry for the delay. The pull is bigger than I expected. It will be ready as a pull shortly.

Is it Ok for me to make this a pull for r/3.x (v3.2)? It can be considered a bug fix? The code for this has gone through QA at our site so I'm just about to port it to the latest of what ever version I can apply this to in OC.

I'm ok with it if you can get it by the 3.x release managers as bug fix.
It's nothing I should be deciding.
I will certainly not complain

Fixed and reviewed
