Filters set by selecting a category in the dashboard are not shown

Steps to reproduce:
1. Select a filter from the "Dashboard" like "Scheduled", "Recording", "Running", "Failed", "Todo" or "Finished"
2. The filter is applied but not shown in the filter search box. But pressing X does delete it.
Simply following up on paperwork and logging for posterity.
PR #1449 fixes the issues reported in this ticket, and has been merged into r/2.3.x.
