System doesn't recover from ActiveMQ downtime

Steps to reproduce

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start opencast, with ActiveMQ running.
2. Shut down ActiveMQ, wait some time (maybe a minute)
3. Activate ActiveMQ again

Actual Results:

The connection never gets re-established until the next restart of opencast.

Expected Results:

The system should recover.
Workaround (if any):

Restart opencast.
