Inconsistent Coupling Between Technical And Bibliographic Meta Data

    Details

    • Type: Bug
    • Status: Resolved
    • Priority: Major
    • Resolution: Fixed and reviewed
    • Affects versions: 6.0, 7.0
    • Fix versions: 6.0
    • Labels:
      None
    • Severity:
      Usability Issue
    • Steps to reproduce:
      Hide
      Steps to reproduce:
      1. Schedule a new event
      2. Check bibliographic meta data under event details -> meta data: technical meta data was used to initialize bibliographic meta data. This is also reflected in the events table.
      3. Change technical meta data (start/end/duration/location) under event details -> scheduling

Actual Results: When changing the technical meta data, the bibliographic meta data under event details -> meta data is not updated. The events table reflects the changes done to start/end, but not the one done to location

Expected Results: Whenever the technical meta data is updated, the bibliographic meta data is adjusted accordingly. Changing the bibliographic meta data should not affect the technical meta data (this is already the case).

Workaround (if any): Manually update the bibliographic meta data after updating the technical meta data
