Ben has asked for a "+" in the Series field (i.e. to add additional Series as one would add additional Presenters), but I wrote the Summary to express what his goal actually is.

No, but if you want a more sophisticated mapping, we need to specify it.
I think it is ok to leave this in the product backlog for documentation purposes but we can't address this within the next two months.

Associating an item with an collection means connecting it to the series
metadata also. Imagine you had a talk from "Conference 2011" which you wanted
to feature on your "Distinguished Speakers" series also, you would like that series

How would the item know which series to choose for this? You would need some
intelligence to either have the item know when to associate with what series - or you
would have to display both sets of information. Which might work on purely
informative metadata page like

Editing the summary to reflect that what this story is really about (i.e. what we're keeping in backlog at this time) is the addition of UI elements to allow for this one-to-many (i.e. one recording to more-than-one playlists/collections) mapping. According to conversation with Adam (31May), we will be able to include a recording in multiple playlists and collections (i.e. one for the series, one for the category); this will happen automatically, however, with no action by admin.
