Location for FELIX_HOME incorrect for org.opencastproject.matterhorn.plist in matterhorn 1.4 server install on osx in the wiki, also plist doesn't load

    Details

    • Type: Bug
    • Status: Resolved
    • Priority: Minor
    • Resolution: Cannot Reproduce
    • Affects versions: 1.4.0
    • Fix versions: None
    • Components: Documentation
    • Labels:
      None
    • Severity:
      Incorrect Documentation
    • Steps to reproduce:
      Hide
/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.opencastproject.matterhorn.plist contains an incorrect location for FELIX_HOME. If the docs are followed to the letter, FELIX_HOME should be: /opt/matterhorn/trunk

      In addition the command:
      sudo launchctl load /Library/LaunchDaemons/org.opencastproject.matterhorn.plist

      Returns:

launchtl: no plist was returned for: /Library/LaunchDaemons/org.opencastproject.matterhorn.plist
launchtl: no plist was returned for: /Library/LaunchDaemons/org.opencastproject.matterhorn.plist
      nothing found to load

Yes the first line appears twice, yes I verified that the file is there, and yes I made sure that <ladmin> is set to the username of the local admin.

This isn't a huge deal for me because I do not need matterhorn to load on startup and I can export all of the environment variables listed in the plist file.
