    Details

    • Type: Bug
    • Status: Resolved
    • Priority: Blocker
    • Resolution: Fixed and reviewed
    • Affects versions: 1.4.0
    • Fix versions: 1.4.0
    • Components: Backend Software
    • Labels:
      None
    • Severity:
      Non Functioning
    • Steps to reproduce:
      Hide
      Steps to reproduce:
      1. Run the default workflow, make sure to check the "archive" checkbox.
      2. When the workflow is finished, go to the "Episode" tab
      3. The recording is there but marked as "retracted".

The reason for this behavior is that currently, the Episode service only archives selected (tagged) elements of the mediapackage. This needs to be corrected in some way so that the full mediapckage is stored but only the selected elements, or some other way needs to be found to let the mediapackage know that there are distribution artifacts still out there, and hence allowing for retraction.
